A R T I S T' S  S T A T E M E N T

I work from a place of stillness, a reverence for life and the complexity of emotion not only in us, the custodians of nature, but in all living creatures. Painting with intent, my aim is to evoke this sense of stillness in the viewer. 

My current series, In The Skies, focuses on cloud formations as the final frontier between us and the mystery of what lies beyond. The painting takes on a life of its own, a journey of painterly brush marks dictating the final composition.

I spend many hours studying the work in different light conditions before adding final touches.
